(Essential Moon Cycles, continued)
A Triplicity of Triplicities:
As discussed elsewhere, the sacredness of the number 3 is also applicable to our work with Cycles. It starts with a triplicity of the Greater Cycle: the Focus for the entire Greater Cycle, (given to us by Theos), the Sign energy governing the Quaternary, (remembering that the Sign is the one on the cusp of the Air Sign governing the Quaternary), and the Sign energy of the current Moon Cycle. These 3 energies are the over-arching or all embracing energies which modify the entire Greater Cycle, as well as the current Quaternary along with the current Moon Cycle.
For instance, if the Focus for the Greater Cycle is transforming our sub-personalities, wherever our inner explorations lead throughout the entire Greater Cycle ~ whatever the resulting insights and/or revelations are ~ we look for all the ways these discoveries relate to the Focus of transforming our sub-personalities.
With respect to the Sign energy ~ whether of the governing Quaternary or of the current Cycle ~ we look to see and understand how these energies modify our experience of the Quaternary and current Cycle. It is also of note that in astrology, a triplicity is a group of three Signs belonging to the same Element.
For instance, if the current Quaternary is Gemini, we then look to see how the Qualities of the Sign of Gemini have shaped our insights and/or revelations. With Gemini, your discoveries might come from analysis or talking things over with others. Or you could be utilizing some of the other Qualities of Gemini to reach insights about the Focus of transforming our subpersonalities.

MOON CYCLES ~ Our Perfectly Ray 7/Will to Build Partner in Transformation:
Regular Soul contact and transmissions of Divine Will are both powerful spiritual practices in their own right. Combined, they create a dynamic synergy that fosters growth where it is directed, while simultaneously benefiting All. It is a more complex discussion, however, to explain what the addition of Moon Cycles creates. Part of the challenge stems from the role Moon Cycles play in the transformation process.
Moon Cycles, as a collection of sequential energies forming sequential relationships, (Luminaries and the Aspects they form), which occur in a rhythmic and orderly fashion, make an energetic contribution to your spiritual growth equal to that of either Soul contact or Divine Will. However, Moon Cycles ~ and Astrological Cycles in general ~ not only add to the sum of the parts, they have the ability to contain and transform these energies, as well.
An analogy may be clearer. You are making a 3 ingredient cake, (transformational spiritual growth), where Soul Contact, Divine Will, and Moon Cycles are the 3 ingredients (energies). Each of these energies are wholly helpful and useful on their own. However, in order to make a cake out of these ingredients, (create the desired growth), there needs to be a way to combine or synthesize the energies in such a way as to produce something entirely new: the cake … your growth.
There needs to be the application of an overarching transformative energy to this mix. Moon Cycles are not only one of the 3 ingredients, but they are also the oven in which you transform the mixture, they are the temperature the oven produces, and they dictate the time/duration spent in the oven … thereby creating a whole new type of accelerated, integrative, spiritual growth. (This deserves some thought from all who read it.)
Cycles cause an alchemical reaction which turns these three energies into something entirely new and delightful ~ rhythmical, focused, and purposeful energies we can easily utilize for personal ~ and spiritual ~ transformation.
