Bridge or link between the known and the unknown; links the tradition and stability of Saturn with the change and revolution of Uranus; Maverick; an independent who does not conform to his/her group or align with any particular faction or belief; healing and whole making; integrating instinct with intellect and body with mind; holistic health and education; Personal Questing; teacher/healer; wounded healer; the inner teacher of intuition, (Uranus) and the outer teacher of tradition (Saturn); A key opening new doorways; turning points in life’s direction.
Chiron acts as a bridge between our collective mind and the galactic dimensions; Chiron is our link to communicating with intelligences outside of our conscious reality and planetary system. Chiron deepens our spiritual understanding of the laws of nature; Chiron is present whenever we undergo a spiritual crisis, where our inner intuition, urges us to question Orthodox dogma. Chiron’s activation in our psyche at this time is preparatory for contact with orders of intelligence beyond the human realms.

Symbology:
The Glyph for Chiron is that of a key, indicating that these energies open doors and unlock our inner knowing. Chiron also symbolizes service to humanity; in the constellation, Chiron aims an arrow into the sky which points to 27 ½ degrees of Sagittarius – the galactic center of the universe. His message is that through the natural kingdom we will find a key that will enable us to communicate beyond our current three-dimensional reality.
Another facet to this Glyph is the idea that humanity, itself, is the key to the evolution of all the lower kingdoms and it is through our connection to Chiron that we can fully explore healing on all levels in all kingdoms.
Analysis by Theos:
Theos assigns Ray 2 and Ray 7 to Chiron, pointing to the healing and teaching aspect of the Ray 2 combined with the group orientation and being a focal point for where “the highest and lowest” energies meet, indicating the presence of Ray 7. Theos has paired Chiron with Urania, emphasizing the healing orientation of both ~ Chiron representing the healing of the physical form and Urania relating to mental healing ~ while both demonstrate the power of our wounds to fuel transformation.
