Examples of Jupiter as people: Jupiter in Libra in the 9th house is a lovely position for our Big Brother. It means that such an individual is likely to make important relationships while traveling and or when engaged in higher education. If Jupiter in this sign/house placement were also in positive aspect to the Moon, such relationships would prove to be particularly emotionally satisfying, especially if they were with women.
Jupiter in the First House conjunct the ascendant in Taurus square the Moon in Leo would be an entirely different story. Here the only “Jupiter person” this person could meet would be themselves. They could be so hugely attached to their own set of values, (Taurus), so frightened of changing them and moving out of their (dis)comfort zone, (fixed sign square), that it would be difficult for them to engage emotionally, (Moon), with others. They would thus tend to meet people, (especially women—Moon), who are excessively self-protective, self-indulgent, and self-absorbed, (all stemming from fear of change). A person with this First House placement, would tend to be overweight, overgenerous, and overbearing.
If a person had Jupiter conjunct to Pluto in Scorpio in the Seventh House trine Mercury for example, they would meet some very interesting people. These “Jupiter people” would be deep thinkers ~ perhaps a little “too” deep ~ but still able to communicate their belief system, (trine with Mercury). In fact they just might try to convince one to change one’s religion or standards by which one views the universe—and they would do a good job of it. They would enjoy getting into profound conversations with others, (anything to do with Scorpio/Pluto contacts is profound), and tend to benefit greatly from such interchanges.
Jupiter in Aquarius in the natal Third House would indicate that they have a sibling or group of close friends who entertain unusual, (highly individualized), political or social opinions. They would be drawn to such people as the way they could individualize their own world views. If Jupiter in this position were trine the Sun in the Seventh House, these associations would take on an even stronger intimacy and they would find that they would know such people for long periods of time … or that this type of individual would constantly reappear in their life, giving them the great gift of this friendship.
