Kite:

The Kite occurs when planets forming a Grand Trine link up with another planet which opposes one apex of the triangle and sextiles the other two. In theory, this aspect pattern offers the best of both worlds – the balanced flow of energy of the Grand Trine is stiffened by the presence of the Opposition, which challenges the inclination towards complacency of the soft aspects. Although the Kite is a more dynamic pattern than the Grand Trine, it requires careful handling. Given that the Kite contains only one Opposition, it is possible to skirt around the issues symbolized by the challenging aspect and remain within the relative comfort of the Trines and Sextiles … but if the conflicts shown by the Opposition are faced head-on, the potential for greater self-awareness is high.
