Generally:
Theos tells us that all human beings are made up of 3 main energy systems: Astrology, Genealogy, and Rayology.
The areas of Astrology and Rayology, through their varying degrees of flexibility in, and impact on, the make-up of a person, afford Soul greater creative input than Genealogy alone. All three energy systems affect not just the physical body, but all the forms and fields of a human being, including the mind, the emotions, and the personality.
The shape, look, color, musculature, and health of your physical body are not just the result of the roll of your genetic dice. As with all things spiritual, 3 factors contribute to the overall way your physical body appears and functions; the way you think and how you feel; and the contours of your personality. These 3 factors are your Genealogy, Astrology, and Rayology.
But do remember this: because everything is energy, ALL of the parts that make up the whole person have impact on every other part.
Genealogy:
This encompasses a lot more than just your genetic inheritance. For our study of TAM, genealogy covers:
- Your DNA: Soul may choose a specific genetic line, (and/or family, community, country, etc.), for the opportunities they afford the personality to grow, personally and spiritually, in a direction Soul wishes to develop in itself.
Your genetics are the “hard-wired” aspects of your physical form, dictated at the inception of the form itself. Your genetics are designed to give you specific life experiences associated with your physiognomy and body type.
Soul’s goals for the life are what accounts for how there might be 7 siblings in a family of very tall people with 6 tall siblings and one petite sibling. Or, how dark-skinned, dark-haired parents might produce a pale-skinned, red-haired child. Or, how parents of limited intellectual abilities can produce children of exceptional mental capabilities.
These types of “aberrations” from the genetic norm in a family are triggered by a Soul with a specific goal in mind for this lifetime. The hope is, this difference will generate a certain kind of growth which being different often fosters ~ in the person with the differences, in their families, communities, etc.
- Additionally, the following factors are important historical ~ and current ~ influences:
• your parents;
• your siblings;
• your immediate family, (grandparents, aunts, uncles);
• your extended family;
• any familial abnormalities in composition or disposition;
• your family’s financial history;
• the neighborhood(s) in which you grew up;
• any accidents, tragedies, crises;
• your early playmates;
• your teachers;
• your classmates, your school environment;
• your spouse(s);
• your child or children;
• your financial history;
• your workplace, workmates, and management;
• your social network;
• your immediate community;
• your county, district, state, region, country, etc.;
• surrounding countries;
• our global community; and
• any significant historical events, personally experienced.
These factors are not necessarily listed in order of prominence of influence and may not be complete ~ that would strictly depend on your personal perspective. The important takeaway here is the sheer volume of those factors that you basically “breathe in” on a regular ~ if not daily, hourly, etc. ~ basis.
An important fact to also keep firmly in mind here is this:
By the time you are nine years old you have made up your mind about the nature of reality ~ how you believe the world functions and what your place in it is. By then you have already accumulated beliefs you will follow for the rest of your life ~ unless or until consciously changed by you.
These influences encompass things your family said to you on a regular basis; how your teachers treated you; how well your peers accepted you; things you read in school or elsewhere; sports participation or lack of it; remarks made by schoolmates; and so on. This shows the weight and extended influence of early childhood experiences.
These factors have a decided impact on you ~ an imprint, if you will ~ which determines your reactions to, thoughts about, and feelings toward ~ the people, events, and circumstances of your life and ~ if not consciously changed by you ~ imprints that will continue through to the end of your life. These beliefs steer your course through life and determine what good you draw to you.
- Most of your idiosyncracies and insecurities stem from the adolescent years. This is what makes self-exploration and the ability to be honest with yourself, vitally important for your mental health and your spiritual growth. If you feel your early years were difficult, we highly recommend seeking psychological counseling with someone you find trustworthy and insightful.
However effective TAM may be in helping you to change your thoughts, thought patterns, and beliefs, there is real value in the physical presence of someone qualified to counsel you ~ and whom you trust ~ when exploring past experiences, especially those you feel were traumatic or indelible.
In reality, your beliefs completely determine your experience of your life and everyone and everything in it. Through your beliefs you create expectations. Your expectations determine about 98% of everything in your life: the experiences, the people, your levels of joy and satisfaction.
Take a good amount of time to really consider these concepts and ideas.
Things will always remain the same … until you make a conscious choice to release these energetic ties, and the thoughts that created them … and then decide to believe something else. It’s impossible to over-emphasize the importance of understanding these principles and concepts.
This ability to make conscious choices and decisions is the exercise of your free will. An important condition contained in that statement is the inclusion of the word conscious ~ the fact is that the majority of people’s choices and decisions are subconscious, made out of habit or expediency … or both. And those decisions are not technically considered free will … because there is very little freedom in habit or expediency.
What’s more, the farther your life moves away from Soul’s goals and motives for this incarnation, the harder and more miserable your life will become. Not because Soul is “punishing” you … but because the less you include Soul, the less opportunity Soul has to bring good to you or to help you.
Remember: you are Soul’s creation … and Soul is responsible, karmically, for “the work of its creation.” What this means is that whatever you do with your life ~ for good or ill ~ creates karmic imbalances which Soul must bring to balance, either in this life or another.
You can utilize your free will by choosing a Soul-centered life of joy, ease, and love. It’s up to us. We choose.
Astrology:
Every Sign represents a universal archetype, with specific personality characteristics ~ expressed skillfully or unskillfully ~ as well as physical body parts ruled/affected by that Sign.
Of the 3 energy systems, Astrology has the most rules, many focused around the construction of a natal map or event, based on the date, time, and place. One must also consider those Aspects and Aspect Patterns which apply in relationship ~ and in Cycles ~ to the natal map throughout the course of one’s lifetime, all of which are due to these factors:
• Astrology has a 26,000 year Greater Cycle;
• which is divided into roughly 2,500 year Cycles of the Signs: meaning the Sun moves through each astrological Sign in sequence ~ and in the reverse direction from the personal natal wheel, (Pisces – Aries), ~ approximately every 2,500 years;
• which is, in turn, parsed into century, decade, and single year Cycles;
• each single Solar Year Cycle is divided by 12 Signs and has 13 Moon Cycles;
• further divided into 12 Houses;
• coupled with circumscribed orbital patterns for each Heavenly Body;
• the geometric angles, (Aspects and Aspect Patterns), formed by the Heavenly Bodies at the moment of birth;
• as well as the Aspects and Aspect Patterns formed by transit and progression throughout the life of the individual; and
• there is no exact duplication for any one natal chart for another 26,000 years.
All Heavenly Bodies have their own impact on your various bodies, (physical, mental, emotional, personality), while the Houses they domicile determine where all these varied impacts are registered.
Please see Foundational Astrology, for information on the parts of the body affected by specific Signs; in what area of your life they may arise, due to House placement; and how specific Planets and Signs play a role in your health.
However, Astrology doesn’t just affect your physical body … far from it. Astrology describes certain personality traits you will have; how your mind takes in and assimilates ideas; your favored mode of communication; how you approach relationships; likely career choices; and so much more.
Astrology is not a simple science ~ all of the foregoing components are complicated by:
• the varying planetary movements, either direct or retrograde;
• each planet’s orbital length, defined in years and subject to various Cycles;
• each Cycle, with its own characteristics, which modify the Heavenly Bodies’ characteristics;
• the Aspects, (geometric relationships), the Planets form with one another during their journey around the Sun;
• as well as their relationships with the Sun;
• all of which are analogous to our own interpersonal relationships;
• the exact location on earth and time of birth, need to be considered;
• even multiple-child pregnancies will result in different birth times in the same location for each child, which can result in very different birth charts.
Because it can be planned, Theos feels Astrology is generally considered, from Soul’s perspective, as a way to “fine-tune” your genealogy, (as defined above), in order to produce the desired physical form experiences, along with specific personality characteristics, and the resulting perceptual ideations/beliefs.
This includes not just how the physical form experiences its life through the five physical senses, and in what areas of life you will have those experiences, it also includes the emotional reactions that are engendered through the thoughts and beliefs you hold.
Please see our Foundational Astrology section for more detailed information delineating basic astrological principles and information.
Rayology:
Of the three energy systems, this is the least well-known. Some research has been done, but this is, at this time, mainly obscure Esoteric knowledge.
The study of the Science of the 7 Rays has barely begun. This does not indicate, however, the importance or impact these Ray bodies have on our life experiences. As the third and final component of the 3-Fold Human Being, your Rayology has equal weight with your Genealogy and Astrology.
In this science, the make-up of a complete human being includes 7 Ray bodies ~ divided as the Rays are, into the higher 3 Ray bodies and the lower 4. At this point, we will concern ourselves with only 5 of the 7 Ray bodies. Our studies with TAM cover our Physical, Emotional, and Mental bodies, as well as our Personality and Soul vehicles.
The inclusion of the Soul Ray here does not mean you have a choice about the Ray assigned to your Soul ~ or any of your Ray bodies, for that matter. To know the Ray your Soul currently resides upon gives the power to better understand Soul’s goals and motives for your current incarnation and what direction will lead you into a more Soul-aligned life.
Your Rayology is, from the viewpoint of Soul, the easiest aspect to manipulate, given that your Ray bodies are direct energetic “donations” from Soul and entirely decided by Soul’s estimation of what is needed for this particular incarnation. This ties to the old metaphysical adage that “all you need is already within your aura.” This is mainly true due to your Rayology and Soul’s wisdom about what qualities you will most need during this incarnation.
Determining the Rayology of your various vehicles can be accomplished in one of several ways … but there may be more ways than are listed here. You can use your intuition to determine your Ray bodies; you can consult a professional channel; or you can complete the Personal Identity Profile, (PIP), included in Tapestry of the Gods, Vol. 2, by Michael D. Robbins, Ph.D.
Once you have determined your Rayology, you will find extensive information on the Rays, on each of the various Ray bodies, Ray qualities, studies on the contrasts between the Rays, and the individual physical body types associated with each Ray in Tapestry of the Gods, Vol. 1, by Michael D. Robbins, Ph.D.
Taking the time and effort to discover and study your Rayology is well worth your energetic investment. Studying your Rayology fills in the gaps which Genealogy and Astrology do not cover and, more importantly, gives you good information on your Soul and its likely goals and motives for this lifetime.
