Keeping a Journal

Keeping a Personal Journal:

We encourage you to keep a journal just for exploring your thoughts and emotions each day and for those thoughts and feelings you may not yet be ready to share in a blog with the rest of the group.

Theos always emphasizes the importance of writing about your experiences, saying: “Some things only come out when you’re writing. There is something magical and transformative about the process of journaling.” So you’ll really need a physical journal of some kind. We like the lined ones you can find at the dollar stores. You may find yourself going through them faster than you imagine.

*** Why You Really, Really Need A Journal: ***

* Some of you may already keep a personal journal which includes information about shifts in consciousness, transformation in personal relationships, or other areas of spiritual growth. The value of keeping a journal cannot be overstated.

* Choosing a time of day to be alone to write in your journal is part of good mental hygiene.

* Set your intent to have this time for yourself. Then expect this opening to happen. It is definitely on your Path to have it. You need it. (Hint: Call on the Will to Initiate.)

* This illusion was created to fool you into believing it is real. It takes a great deal of spiritual progress and energy to see through the illusion to the True Reality it veils. Journaling helps you remember this Truth.

* Those who keep a journal receive added spiritual energy from their growth because writing about your shifts in awareness helps you integrate the growth you received, and often leads to more shifts in awareness.

* Some things only come out when you write.*

* We are all receiving so much light, so much growth, and so much input from so many areas, recording them makes them more manageable. Putting it all down in writing gives you distance. Literally.

* Keeping a journal is making a record of the changes your growth brings.

*** It has your proof, in writing, that you do create your reality. ***
