There has been some online debate about whether or not Einstein did, in fact, say this. Our take on it is, in the course of the long lifetime Einstein had, it’s impossible to say whether or not he actually did or did not say this. Given that his formula E=MC² indicates that everything in the Universe is energy, it is certainly possible this quote could have come from him, had he been asked the right question about it.
